My 1985 toyota extracab 22r-e pickup suddenly would not start. It would crank, but was not getting any gas. Afterputting in a wire bypassing the throttle body sensor, it ran again for a few days but then it quit again.I took out the battery and ran 2 wires to the gas pump, which is in the tank and is electric, well, I could hear it running so next I started testing the wires leading from the gas tank to the front of the engine compartment. They were good but I still haven't come to the checkconnector, which isn't where the chilton manual says it is.Someone told me to disconnect the fuel line at the fuel filter (which has already been replaced) and see how much gas is actually being pumped. As the filter is in an impossible the see plce and nearly impossible to work on, and the gas line is ridgid,is this a safe thing to do?I don't want to go up in a blaze of glory, thats for suree. anybody got any other ideas? rufino
