Does anyone know if the spare tire is monitored by the "tire pressure warning system"?

The warning light is currently on. I checked all of my tires and they were all at 32 PSI. The sticker on the door frame indicates that the tires should be at 29 PSI (cold) and the tires say 51 PSI maximum. I filled the tires up three times finally working my way up to approximately 50 PSI. The indicator light is still on. I plugged one of my tires about a month ago (screw was stuck in it) and I am wondering if the "system" senses a leak in that tire? I just checked my tires and they are all at about 46 PSI.
