My car has only 57000KM and I feel vibration on the high or low speeds in the steering wheel. It's not major...but needs to be fixed. I changed the brake pads. It's front wheel drive. Any help is appreciated...

This could be caused by several factors. Among them are: - you mentioned replacing the front brake pads. Where the brake rotors resurfaced at that time? If not they could be warped and causing drag against the new pads. If that were the case (and it's severe enough) you could also feel a pulsing in the brake pedal). - you could have a tire that's out of balance or perhaps a belt separation. Try a tire rotation to see if the issue moves to the rear axle where you'll then feel the vibration in the seat of your pants.

Thanks for your reply. I feel the vibration without touching the brake pedal. Could this be due to faulty rotors as well when I am not using the brake. I will try the tire rotation tomorrow. I heard that instead of maching the rotors, one should replace them with new one's - do you agree.

How did the tire rotation work out?
Rotors can be machined without an issue - matter of fact, that's highly recommended when replacing brake pads. There is, however, a point when the rotors become too thin to safely machine any further. At that point they need to be replaced.
