Check And Vsc Light On, Cd Error Options

Few kilometers home from a trip, Check and VSC light came on the same time.
Few days later, I remove a CD to LOAD another. A CD ERROR message came on.
Pls. is anybody with Avalon 2005 Limited in the house with experiences on how to resolve this?

This is another development - I removed the battery head, the CD ERROR changed to NO CD and the CD light on the stereo panel did not come up again.
Pls. I need someone to help me on how I can resolve this NO CD issue...
