Hey, iv recently owned this brilliant little car for about a month, The vvt-i system is basic but better than not having any :P

(IMG:http://tjbp.net/upload/Rolla.jpg)

(Lol, thats isnt me bhind the wheel but my mate, he wants my car :P)

Besides the point, i have reached the stage where i want more power from my engine as i know its perfectly more than capable even on standard components, i mean its a 1.4 with 16v, Dohc, Mpi & vvt-i.. yet it has less Bhp than a shitty Peugeot 106 1.4 Xsi which is as basic as u like, Sohc and 8v :/

.. So, theres my question.. Where do i start? I have tried looking up on the internet for what to do.. and it seems nobody has ever tuned this engine.. So i couldnt find much :P

I also have a slight problem, the engine seems to mis-fire every now and again whilst stood still and driving when about 1/4 throttle is applied inbetween 1500 rpm - 2500 rpm.. If i put my foot down, once it gets past these rev's it fine.. :/ Does anybody know whats causing this?

Many thanks for any answers on both subjects.
