Towing Options

I bought a used '08 HiHy because it seemed to be the only one of the smaller hybrids that offered any reasonable amount of towing ability, along with enough room to carry my large musical instruments (bass and tuba). I installed an electric brake controller along with the hitch. This week we took out our 2,000 lb. camper for the first time with the Highlander. Made a 100 mile, 3 day camping trip which included 65mph highway driving and country roads and hills. Car and trailer handled beautifully!
