I am getting ready to replace a starter motor on a 92 Tercel tomorrow (I hope) and need some pointers regarding it's removal. I have purchased the starter motor already for that model year.

As far as I have been able to learn the starter is located between the firewall and the engine? Other than removing the neg battery cable and then disconnecting the battery cable from the magnetic switch and so on with the electrical and bolts to the bell housing is there anything I am missing?

Any pointers in terms of making my life easier with this project...do I have the location of the motor correct? Is there an easy way to remove it?

Anything someone can tell me re this project would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
