1987 Pickup Sadly Laid To Rest Options

My 1987 Toyota pickup, 4 spd, 22r engine, gave me a final ride on 09/01/09. After 320,250 miles, she developed a bad case of pneumonia, ( Blown Head Gasket) and was laid to rest at the local recycling yard. I bought her brand spanking new in spring of 1988 with 47 miles on her. She cost me about $5600 which was a great price. She never gave me any trouble other normal wear and tear. Bsaed in California, she took me to 3 times to Nebraska,4 times to New Mexico, 3 times to Colorado and numerous camping trips. The secret to her longevity was religiously changing her oil every 5.000 miles! I will miss her and treasure the memories forever. Even my grown children were heartboken!
