Zero Brake Lights, Fuse And Switch Ok, 2001 RAV4 with non-functioning brake lights ?? Options

[Wife's RAV4-2001]

My wife, today, purchased a 2001 RAV4.
When we got home, we noticed that neither side nor center brake light lit up.
All other lights, including tail lights worked fine.
I put in a new 10A fuse for the stop fuse and replaced the brake switch (w/cruise control).
Brake lights still do not work.

What else could it be ?

Broken wire? An ohm meter might be useful for checking continuity.

Hello by any chance does the circuit involve the directional switch? I am a technician and i have come across the same problem in ford crown victorias and the problem has commonly been a bad multi function switch check it out
