Toyota Fortuner Vs Prado Options

Hello friends,

I am looking forward to your valuable suggestions to help me select the right SUV .

I have options of fortuner with 3.0 D4D engine as well as Prado with the same engine. The point with the fortuner is that it is 40 % cheaper than Prado in price. Looking to the specifications the major difference is that prado has ventilated disc brake in the rear where as fortuner has drum.

I am pharmaceutical researcher and I need a car that is capable of negotiating with rough irregular jungle roads with muds , sands , fords and inclines. The 40 % price difference between the two cars makes a huge difference to me . But I do not know if the fortuner has similar off road capability as the prado.
