Today I installed an aftermarket tach on my 97 Tercel....The ignition module, located near and above the brake booster has a black wire with a blue stripe. I attached the tach signal wire there, wired up power, ground, illumination and set the tach for 4 cylinder/coil on plug style ignition and PRESTO!!!! After 13 years of ownership, the little beast finally has a tach! Just thought I'd share this with all of you. Later! Ken
