hi have just replaced brushes on 83 hilux diesel alternalor. prior to brushes being replaced the dash charge light was very dim but visible and battery going flat. now after replacing brushes the charge light is very bright and nstays on after starting the vehicle. Is there something I have missed, eg diodes etc. or does it take time for the new brushes to bed in?? thanks heaps for any help
