Broken Glove Box Latch And Slider Options

I'm a new member here and have a few questions.

First, I have a 2004 Sienna with a broken lower glove box latch. Do I need to buy a whole new latch?

And second, the auto sliding door on the passenger side is not working properly. Many times it just about closes then stops and opens back up as if we hit the button to open it.

Any advice on fixing these problems is much appreciated.
