Hi there I own a 08 highlander,and whenever i drive over bumps I can hear a clicking noise coming from the rear left tire I've taken it in,and they have changed the arbsorber,and lubricated the caliper pistons,and yet the noise went away,and now its come back WHAT CAN THIS BE HHELP thank u Note I have 1600 miles on this vehicle.

The clicking noise that I was hearing has been rectified by the compittent toyota shop it was the parking brake assembly that they had to replace no more noise.

It may be the rear axle. I had mine oiled because of the annoying clicking sound. The service worker told me then that it wasn't supposed to need to be oiled at all (by design), but that's what it would need to fix the sound.
