I have a 07 Avalon Limited (bought in Nov 2006). I have had an issue off and on for a few months now with the hi beams either flickering on and off or just being stuck in the on position and I can't turn them off. The hi beams would stay on then turn off for about 30-45 minutes after I turn off the car. 4 trips to the dealer reflashed then replaced the ECM and then the headlight module. It's in the shop now waiting for a district rep to look at the car. Anyone experience this problem?

That's an... interesting issue O.o

I've never head that happening after the light solenoid has been replaced...

I would have to guess an electrical wireing fault, or perhaps the wire from the switch on the steering console was pinched during installation. Though that it only occurs for 30-45 minutes and then stops is just... odd.

I experienced an electrical issue on an '08 Avalon involving my high-beams. I was driving at night in cruise control with the high-beams on. As I went to clear the bugs from my windshield, I engaged the bug juice and the wipers and spray did their thing but I loss all engine RPM's. I was like, this isn't right, so I tried it again and sure enough as soon as I released the bug juice control the RPM's came back up. I've tried different combinations but it only does it when the high-beams are on and while in cruise control.
