Climate Control Display Options

I am having an intermitant problem with my climate control system display. The climate control works but nothing is displayed on the screen. There was a clicking sound coming fromthe fuse panel area. The last time it happened, I noticed the cigarette lighters did not work either (my cell phone was not charging). Of course I have not been able to reproduce at will or it at the dealer (so they do not want to do anything). My guess is that there is a loose wire. Any ideas?
