Does anyone know how to safely de badge a 2007 RAV4?

Drives: 2008 RAV4 Limited V6 4WD
Location: Northern California
1)Use a hair dryer to heat up the emblem and double stick tape
2)pull on end of emblem and slide some fishing line between tape and body
3)slowly lift emblem and 'saw' the fishing line until emblem is off
4)remove leftover adhesive (I just rubbed it with my finger then used a cleaner wax)
