Hello, I am new to the forum.

I am having to install a trailer brake controller in my 1999 4runner. There are 4 wires to connect, and I have at least that many questions.

1. How and where should I run the one to the trailer connector?
2. Where is closest good grounding point near the controller under the dash?
3. I need to connect up to the positive battery terminal through an in-line fuse. What is the best way through the firewall?
4. I need to connect up to the brake pedal switch. What is the best way to do this?

If anyone has done this, I would appreciate some advice. Or if you know of a good web site that would help me do this, please send me the link.

Thanks. LMH
