Gday Guys
Im looking to install a HU and some speakers into my Hilux.
It seems like a big job to install the HU but i dotn want to pay someone 2 do it.
Has anyone done this in a 1999 hilux and what is required to do the install
also when installing the new speakers can i use the original wiring from the HU to the speakers with after market speakers?
any help would be appreciated

Its not difficult, just dont force anything off that doesnt feel semi loose, you basically need to undo every screw and bolt you can locate on the dash and around by the door trims. As for wiring piece of cake most automotive parts places sell the male and female adaptors so that your new unit plugs directly into the socket of the factory wiring in the hilux. Took me about 2 hours.

Hey i have got a 1994 Hilux and i have removed the glove box and the part under the steering but cannot remove the middle part were the stock head unit is, can you please tell me how to remove it.
