So I purchased a new radio/cd player. And of course, to my surprise, the bus connector was the only thing that was the same. The new player had two composite components (white and red) and a single connector, while my radio had two blue connectors (molex) and the bus connector.

What must I do? I do not want to instal the speakers, I just want to add in the new stereo.

Is this an aftermarket radio? If so, you need an adapter. The store where you bought the radio should have them.

If this is a Toyota radio, it sounds like you have the wrong model year radio.

The new stereo is a Sony brand, and I purchased a snap on connector, but I still have to connect the appropriate wires. Do you know where I can obtain the color scheme I need to conenct to the appropriate?

So I re-wired it, and it works. But I purchased a universal bracket, and well....it does not look like this universal bracket works with my new stereo. Is it capable of using the standard brackets for the new speaker?
