Drives: 1998 Toyota Hiace Hightop Camper, 2.8 diesel

Hey all,

I have just bought a 2.8 diesel hiace 1998. I thought iwould be able to just transfer my insurance from my car, im with CIS in the uk, but it turns out they dont insure any jap imports. Also I rang direct line and tesco etc. and they wont insure vans with more than a 2.5 litre engine!!

Starting to worry, going on a roadtrip soon, and need to find decent insurance for me fully comp, being the main driver, and haveing 2 named drivers on it aswell

Any suggestions would be great

Hey thanks for teh reply, but i already tried, and they said they couldnt put one of the name drivers on , becauser he was only 22 :(

could try lifesure but they were rather too expensive for me......?

Hello- I used SURETERM, £285 fully comp, two drivers and kept on the road!
