> How much is insurance for a supra compared to other cars? Could anyone tell me? I think it varies with the insurance company but this is my experience to the best of my recollection. It may have been higher in the beginning as it was a 'sporty' car but I couldn't say exactly by how much. The biggest problem I had was that tho I was with my former insurance company for 18 years and was very satisfied with them, when I moved to California I was told that the 'same' name insurance company was 'technically different', corporation rules or something, so that I wound up being classified as a new driver and new client for auto and renters/homeowners insurance purposes. =:O And they gave me a higher rate. I don't exactly remember how or if it was resolved but I must not have been happy as I switched. That classification varies with insurance company tho. Another example, when I first came to California I was told by another company that they wouldn't insure a Supra as a new policy. But if I was with them before and then bought a Supra they would insure it. I wasn't so I didn't. (: But in any case it's a good idea to check around before buying any vehicle as that helps estimate the overall operating costs. I found that my current agent will give ballpark costs for various vehicles over the phone. Celie Rules!! I paid $270 for six months ($540 a year) in the far west surburbs of Chicago. I'm a 52 year old female with a clean driving record. I got credit for passive restraints (airbags), anti-theft system, nonsmoker, nondrinker, multiple car discount, and having our homeowners insurance with the same company: Illinois Farmers Insurance.

Barbara

I'm putting off a trip to Cork as long as possible...not looking forward to it! I don't want square alloys, I like them round...and balanced! Sounds like you're out of Freon then. Go for a top up, maybe this is another reason I don't know about for the flashing A/C light. 300 quid! Lucky B**tard...just renewed at 570. I'll have to shop about again next year now. Is this the inside edges or outside edges or what? Have you standard wheels? If not then maybe the wheels have an incorrect offset for the car. If the offset is too much then they will wear on the inside and there's nothing you can do but get them changed. If it's too little they'll wear on the outside and you can buy spacers to fix the problem. Aside from that, you're running about 4psi more than me and my wear is even so don't know. I have all my car insurance trough frizzel , which i believe also trades as london?Victoria. I've always found them very reasonable. he might be beter phoning , most companies are sypathetic to people who have no official NCB but have been driving for X years. Its better to explain that sort of thing in person. cheers , John B.

hi Marty, The cheapest quote should normally comes from his ex-wife insurance company. As they insured his ex-wife as policy holder and your friend as additional driver, they might be able to transfer his no claim bonus from the last 5 years (or more) providing that : no claim or losses in the past 3 years not more than 2 minor offenses in the last ... no major offense (Dr10 or so) he can proof his divorce by official statement. Those conditions may vary according the company you call. But definitely, try the ex-wife company first ! Good luck wosid
