Drives: 1985 Toyota Corolla DX 1.6, 1987 Toyota Camry 2.0
Location: Huntsville, AL
I'm about to replace the timing belt on my 1985 Corolla myself. I know if I have an interference engine and I rotate the camshaft or crankshaft independently without the belt I could run the pistons into the valves.

How do I know if I have that type of engine? I can't find a straight answer anywhere online.
