We've got a 2001 sienna and the electric window on the front passenger door works only intermittently. We're going to be trading it in soon and I think it may only be a problem with an electrical connection in the door. All the other windows work fine. I'd like to remove the interior door panel to check it out but want to know the suggested technique before I dive in so I don't screw it up.

Any ideas?

Um, two weeks and nobody knows or has any ideas? I don't want to damage the door panel but I need to remove it to check the power window wiring harness.

Just replaced Window lift motor on my 99 Sienna. Haynes manual was very handy. It has step by step process of removing the panel and other parts.

It is not very difficult to do it.
