I am new to the forum.
I just bought a 03 Tacoma from the auction. Its missing the owners manual and the 4x4 knob. It is automatic and a 4 cylinder.
I tried to put it 4x4 and it only went to one position. With the knob missing, I dont have a diagram to tell me. I went to the dealer and they sent a mechanic to look at it and he said it only has H2 and H4. (He seemed unsure) I looked around on the net and everyone that I found , has a complete set of H2, H4, L4. What do you know?
I also need to buy a knob but dealer wants $60 for it. Where can I find one cheaper. I found a junkyard that is far away and before driving there, I want to be sure that I am buying the right knob.
