Drives: 1999 Toyota Tacoma
Location: Southern California
I have a 99 Tacoma that jerks whenever I accelerate too hard. It's particularly bad when I'm up in higher gears or if I'm going up hill. I'm not the most technically versed person when it comes to auto maintenance. I've got a troubleshooting guide I've used to fix a few problems here and there but this ones got me stumped. Maybe a faulty spark plug or something to do with the fuel injectors? Just a couple ideas.. anyone have any suggestions? I'd appreciate it.

You sure it's not the auto tranny downshifting?
