Hi there, just a wee message to say that I've only just recently bought myself an H reg Celica GT-R, and can't praise it highly enough. got it for a really good price, as a friend of mine's ex wife had to sell it, so leaping at the chance to steal the car out from under her I made a cheap ass offer and she took it.. What a cracking motor it is.. Needs a couple of things here and there, but mostly cosmetic. What I was wanting to ask is what kind of price do these cars change hands for? Just curious to find out how much I might have saved from the going rate, or if I've been a pillock and paid over the odds.. lol. Already had the car out on a big journey, and loved how well it sticks to the road at higher speed. have fitted a set of split rim alloys to it, and a ten disc Kenwood mask unit just to set it off.. Looks the part, and already have had a couple of offers from people wanting to buy it. So anybody have any advice they could give me about not only what the going rate is for the car, but what I should look out for going wrong under the bonnet! Cheers, Scott.

Prices start from about ?1200 upwards, not much goes wrong under the bonnet. Check the engine diagnostics occasionally, reset the ECU and keep the ignition components in good order. Change the oil and filter regularly make sure the coolant is good nick and run it to at least 6000 rpm regularly to keep the intake clean. If you've got 4ws get it onto the twisties and give it some.
