Hi
I'm new to the forum can anyone help me , i have a Rav 4 2005 automatic and the main electric key is not locking or unlocking the car by the buttons the light is working on the fob when i press the button but dont lock the door every time i unlock it manualy the alarm goes off any ideas please

If your car is equipped with a remote starter or an alarm system those gadgets can render the fob useless under certain circumstances. If your car is equipped with one of those devices you need to seek out the company that installed it and get their advise.
