I have a 1997 Landcruiser and I just bought a new remote because my son dropped the key in water and it no longer works. I have the programing instructions but it doesn't tell me how to get the car to recognize the new remote. Do yall have any suggestions?

I am new to the site so I may not be readin it right, but it appears you did not get a response from anyone, right? I came here first as I am trying to program a new remote for a 1994, and while I could have paid the sealer an hour labor, I chose not to...yet. I have a freind who is a Toyota Lexus mechanic so I know I can get the info. I'll look for a reply from you and then we'll see where we are.
