I purchased a new 2007 Kluger Grande with DVD entertainment and found that the DVD sound only comes on headphones (no audio input jack as well on Grande!). I hate to see my young kids on the headset for several hours when we are travelling long distance. Is there any way of getting the sound on main speakers?

Also, I wanted to find out the frequency in which the DVD player is transmitting to the wireless headphone and if it can also be tuned to a FM frequency on the radio. I cannot find the model of DVD player anywhere.

I can see the following potential options:

1. Buy some cheap speakers and use it when required (loosely hang of the driver/passenger headrest)
2. Buy a FM transmitter (eg: Belkin) and transmit on main speakers through FM (<$100)
3. Professionally install speakers specifically for the DVD system (Ouch!)

Does any one have better suggestions or solutions? Surely, Toyota should be aware of this?

Thanks,
TKP
