Where are you located? Sounds like a engine temp sensor if it gets worse when warm?

Hi there, do you have a diesel engine? I know that the diesel engine have a low oil pressure engine cut off to protect it. You may be using too low of a oil grade, poor oil (or using different multigrade oils all at once) the engine may be worn out or there may be problems with the oil pressure relief valve. Check your oil gauge, does it show low oil pressure when idling? Francois
