My ’93 FZJ80 Toyota Land Cruiser has an intermittent fails to accelerate or run at speed problem. The engine goes to idle, but will not accelerate or die. This condition will happen from once per week to twice per month. The mechanics have been all over this vehicle and are unable to find any problem and, of course are unable to duplicate it. At 180,000 miles I had a major tune-up with injector flush. The tune-up has given smoother performance and higher gas mileage, but the occasional failure still occurs.
