Hello all,
Can anyone pass on any advice for a celica gt4 1989 that when warms
up after starting blows loads of blue smoke. Only does it when it
has been stopped for any lengh of time (i.e. overnight or more).
After a few miles the smoke clears and everything is fine. Leave for
a few hours or more and again, all is fine.
Thinking that it may be leaking oil seal in the turbo does anyone
know any experts in the Telford/Shropshire area I could seek spares
/advice?
Any advice would be well appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Marc.

Marc,
Ask on the gt4_v2@yahoogroups.com list.
(I'm not sure the smoke you describe has anything to do with the turbo
actually...)

Id go with the valve stem seals aswell, from what I know if the turbo oil seals go then the smoke reappear at idle and as you pull away, something to do with the oil presssure sealing the seals when the RPM is higher.......
