Hi Everyone, just joined.... My lease is coming to an end and I'm wondering if it's worth selling my 2003 Sienna LE in the resale market or should I just hand it back to the dealer. The buyout value is 16,500 plus the 15% taxes.

I guess it depends if you're willing to deal woth the hassle of reselling it yourself, and if you intend on purchasing or leasing another car from the same dealership.

Personally, I would not want to deal with the hassle and stress of reselling it myself.

Unless the dealer is feeling extremely generous, then you will be better off selling it yourself. If you can afford to go ahead and get the next car, then you might try putting it in a sale it yourself lot. If you can't purchase without selling first, try just putting a for sale sign in your window. Make sure you list your asking price and a contact number on the sign. Good luck.
