I've got a 99 Toco 4X4-V6. Want to give it a 2 in. lift. Is spacers above shocks
in front and add-a-leaf the way to go???
all input welcome
TONY T.

Don't use spacers. Rancho makes a 1 1/2" coil and
strut. It is stronger and gives a better ride. It sells
for about $250. Use a add a leaf for the rear if
needed. This is what I did and I'm very happy. Good luck

I have noticed that my rear end is very stiff and
has trouble geting traction even when going up a hill
on some lite bumpy pavement. I was also thinking
about lifting my 2000 Tacoma V6. if I add a leaf in the
rear won't it make it stiffer. what should I do? Do
you have this problem? thanks Ryan

yes, AALs will stiffen the rear end more...

You can go with longer shackles, this will keep your
current ride but still offer 1.5-2" of added lift...
However, a longer shackle will require a tailpipe
mod...

New England TTORA
<a href=http://ttora-ne.mainpage.net

So I should run the rancho springs in the front
that will lift it about 2", and put a shackle in the
rear. what about blocks in the rear? which ones are
better?..... oh yea, do they sell just the rancho springs or
do you have to buy a kit? because I have bilstine
shocks right now and I am very happy with them. what
about traction is there some kind of traction bars or
somthing that would help keep my ass end on the trail? or
could I remove a leaf and then use a taller shackle or
add a block to make up for it. I don't know. sorry, I
kind of drilled you with questions this time. Ryan

As far as I know, the Rancho is a full
kit...
You could always check http://www.ttora.com and see
if anyone is selling Rancho Coils...

Stay
away from blocks, they will break on the
trail...

Unless you are blasting through the woods at 50MPH
traction bars are pointless...

Check out Mark's

I WANTED TO PUT SOME 32 X 11.50 15 TIRES ON MY
TRUCK. IS THE RANCHO KIT GOING TO BE ABLE TO CLEAR THEM?
BECAUSE I READ THAT IT ONLY LIFTS YOUR TRUCK 1.5". HOW IS
THE RANCHO KIT ARE THE SPRINGS REALLY STIFF BECAUSE I
WANT SOMETHING THAT WILL BE SUPER PLUSH. THIS IS FOR
MY 2000 TOYOTA TACOMA V6 4X4. THANKS RYAN

Each truck in a little different, but 32s should fit fine with the Rancho kit.
If you have a after market rim watch the offset. I have the coils on my '00
Tacoma and the ride is great.

What kind of tires are you running. because the
ones that I am going to get are probably going to hang
out an inch or so. can you notice there is a
difference in lift? Ryan
