I'd recommend that you have your dealer repair
the door weatherstripping under warranty (i.e.: for
free) to your complete satisfaction. Note that you've
already paid for your car's standard warranty as part of
the purchase price. I'm sure your Prius dealer will
fix your car, using genuine Toyota parts, one way or
the other.<br><br>For what it's worth: My first Prius
had the same problem with the "loose" weatherstrip on
the front driver's side door. My dealer installed a
new, replacement weatherstrip, but it too came loose
again after a few weeks. Unfortunately, before the
dealer had a chance to investigate further, my Prius got
totaled, so the weatherstrip issue became a moot
point.<br><br>Other than the above, I haven't experienced any similar
"trim" problems in my first Prius, nor in either of the
two Prius cars I've rented while waiting for my new
'02 Prius (which should be here in a few
