I finally got "the call" today, informing me of my car's arrival. The L.A. area Regional Manager told me I am one of the very first to take delivery in Los Angeles... I can hardly wait!

My order was confirmed on 6/29 and in early July I received an email promising delivery withing 1-2 months. Apparently, we are a little behind the rest of the country for deliveries, although I don't know why.

Good luck to all of you who are awaiting delivery!!

Benjamin

My dealer put in my order directly and I got a confirmation within minutes. The dealer then confirmed the order (withe SS#, etc.) and I received a confirmation withing less than 1/2 hour (talk about efficeincy!). 1-2 weeks later, Toyota to let me know that my car would arrive in 1-2 months.

I hope the order process goes this smoothly for everyone else... I was impressed.

BTW: For those of you who are still confused about availability of DRL, the regional manager confirmed they are not available. My dealer had promissed me DRL and cruise ctrl, which we all know is not an option.

Benjamin

Steve,

I am with Marina Del Rey Toyota. This is their second car but as I stated earlier, the Toyota Manager for our region says it is one of the first.

Did you receive the email stating you could expect your car within a specific time frame? If so, I'm sure you'll get yours soon. I know how frustrating it can be to wait so long but once you do get the call, your car should arrive quickly... I was promised mine in less than 7 days.

Hang in there!
Benjamin
