Hi! I'm new to the board. I joined because I own 3 Toyotas but have lost all my owner's manuals. Toyota wants about $45 each to replace them. I'm hoping someone here can help me out without me having to spend that much money.

We got a new garage opener today and need to reset the buttons in our 2002 Avalon and 2002 Sienna Symphony.

Is there anyone out there that can help me by posting directions? I know it is simple but can't seem to figure it out.

TIA!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/liebe011.gif)

Although I haven't specifically looked for it, try contacting or browsing through Toyota's website; I am sure that you'll find the book, or indications on how to replace it.

Try a Haynes manual ($14 per vehicle).

I can't believe they want so much money to replace an owner's manual! You would think that as long as you were the verified owner that they would allow at least one replacement per vehicle.

I just put this link in another post . . . it might have what you're looking for at a lower price.

I may be totally off base with this, but why in the world can't car manufacturers simply post their owners manuals online?

Nissan does:

http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/nissan/dept...sid=&dept_id=30

Even some of their dealers do:

http://www.courtesyparts.com/nissan-manual/index.html

Somebody needs to point this out to Toyota!

Try Ebay. Sometimes you may find one there for cheap.

We all know that Toyota and Nissan are competitive. Maybe Toyota will get in gear and get er done soon! I checked on ebay and they had them for like $20+...
