My very first car was a corolla, and I absolutely loved it. It was a great little car, easy to maneuver and park, with a lot of trunk space, great gas mileage, and very few problems.
Anyone else out there fall in love with their Corolla?

My friend had an older one and I have to admit it seem to run forever. In fact he still has it doesn't drive it much anymore.

Yep, that seemed to be the case with the older models. Anyone got a newer one, and do they keep up as well?

I've found that cars are much like computer operating systems, every other one is a stinker! So whereas THIS generation of a corolla might be great...the best trade in will be generation after next.

I have a 2003 Toyota Corolla and love it. Corollas are very economical and inexpensive to maintain. It has a smooth ride and it you maintain it properly it can last forever.

Corollas will always be a soft spot with me! They are great little cars, and perfect for first cars for kids, perfect for just about anything! I just love toyata products in general.

They really are great first cars. My first car was a Corolla, and I loved it and had it for ten years. When my girls get old enough, I will definitely be considering Corollas for their first cars.

I love my 98. Wish it was manual though.

yep, I love my corolla, too. It's small enough so it's easy to park but holds an amazing amount of stuff. Easy to maintain too. I just wish it could wash itself!

Sounds silly, but I like the power my 88 has. Funny story. I picked my friend up one morning for school, and he was goofing off in the car, and said"what's this red button with the triangle do?" I played along and said push it. He did and I floored it. He jumped in his seat, and pushed it to turn it off. It was the 4-ways, but he thought it was nos! Again, my friend and I were on our way to a jazz gig in town, and the kid I had in the back seat was making fun of my car. He doesn't like imports. I do. I looked at my friend in the front seat and smiled, he smiled back. He said, hey, Steve, what's this red button do? I said I don't know, so he pushed it when the light turned green, and I spun the tires all the way through the intersection. The kid in the back went nuts, got out whe we arrived and ran around saying Steve has NOS! no, just a 40 mpg car with a 5 speed :). I like these cars. My first car as well, got it for free, but that's another story....

Dx,
Great stories! I had an eclipse that I kept finding buttons and gizmos on for years! I've gotten in the habit of being in a safe place and then pushing buttons to see what happens....

I use to have a Camry, but OMG do I love my Corolla. It is great and I love the size of it and the mileage I get...plus it's so easy to maintain. I love my Corolla.
