The Maint Record Warning Light on the dash comes on every 3000 miles as a reminder to change the oil. Does anyone know the procedure to turn it off?? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/liebe011.gif)

Your owners manual tells you the sequence to turn this indicator off.

Something like: "With the car off, press the trip odometer and turn the key ignition to the on position"

Read the maunual and you'll get the correct procedure.

I didn't even know there was a way stated in the owner's amnual to get this off; I thought I would have to take it into the dealer. Thanks for the info!

I always assumed so, too. In fact, I recently wrote a post here about that . . . . Good to know that there's a way around that.

Is said method available for every Toyota, or just the Sienna?

See, yall try to fix it, I just drive around with the light glaring at me. I'd never even think of taking it to the mechanic. I might ask him while I was there for something else, but not a special trip. I've even been known to tape over lights that I knew weren't telling me anything useful.
