HELLO FROM BJM. I JUST SIGNED ON TO THE TOYOTA FAN TEAM. MY PROBLEM IS I HAVE A 2006 TOYOTA AVALON LIMITED AND THE MANT REQD LIGHT IS ON. IT'S BAD ENOUGH TO KEEP SEEING THE LIGHT BUT MY CO-PILOT "THE WIFE" KEEPS SAYING ' THE LIGHT IS STILL ON I HOPE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING'. CAN ANYBODY TELL ME HOW TO TURN THE LIGHT OFF UNTIL I GET AN OIL CHANGE AND SERVICE. MY CAR HAS ONLY 20700 MILES. HAPPY EASTER TO ALL.

Turn off the engine with the full mileaqe odometer reading showing, not either of the trip meters. Hold down the odometer reset knob and turn the ignition to "on"...not "start". Hold the odometer knob down for fiver seconds or more. The odometer will briefly show 000000 and the maintenance required light will go off.
