I'm new to this forum. Got a Avalon XL 2007, coming up on 10 K miles. My lite that says maint req'd is coming on as I start the vehicle. I plan on changing oil every 5K miles. I forget how to reset the oil reminder. I take it that is why it's coming on ?? Did a 'search' but nothing comes up. Other than that....drives like a couch. 30 MPG. Darn good car so far. Got a Toy truck with 99 K on it.

1. Select the total milage odometer.
2. turn the engine power off.
3. hold the odometer toggle button in.
4. power up the engine (not start it).
5. hold the above until the milage reads all -----.
