The old original nine year old fuel pump started leaking at the diaphram hole on my '87 4wd truck,so I replaced it with an autozone airtex pump.It quit the next day,the second one lasted 1 week, and the third one lasted 3 weeks.I'm putting the spacer in an can't figure out whats happening. Has anyone had problems with airtex pumps before?thanks

22R engine?

Been there, I've never found any aftermarket mech pump worth a crap for a 22R. A used OEM one works better.
It's one of those parts that has just has to be Toyota to work right.
