Hello,

I have an Avalon 2000 XLS with an heated mirror and memory. I have the "set" button right of the seats to set my seat, mirror etc.. I guess that means I have memory for the mirrors as well, correct?

Basically this mirror broke, and I need a new one. I don't care about the memory, however I also do not want to order the wrong part. Does anyone know if I can use the heated/without memory mirror and replace that with my current one? Does it have the same adapter? My adapter currently has 9 wires and 10 holes in the adapter - the 10th hole is empty.

I would appreciate any help.

Thank you in advance

Good morning. I also have a 2000 model and luckily found a parts seller that I would highly recommend. I too had a mirror broken, completely off the car. I went to CertiFit's website and found my mirror for a very resonable price. Somewhere around $20 I think. It will need painting if you want it to match. I actually left mine black and it looks better than the original and because it was so inexpensive, I will be buying the drivers side as well. BTW, mine was the cheapest version. No memory or heat, but electric. The prices do vary from site to site depending upon the city taxes & etc. Hopefully there is a location near you! BTW, they only carry a limited amount of body parts, nothing else.

Good luck, Mike

I think you should replace it with original spare part, otherwise it might create a problem for you in future
