I thought I read somewhere on a stereo related website that The triangular shaped trim pieces on one of the models of the 4runner has built in tweeter mounts. Is this true? And to make this Tacoma related, I have a 1996 tacoma 4wd. Would it fit in my taco?? Matt

Matt, My understanding is that it is the piece of plastic that fits where your toggle sticks are for your mirrors. I have seen guys replace this piece with the mod out of the 4Runner, however you will lose your ability to adjust your mirrors from inside of the truck. You may be able to find a couple at a junk yard or parts site online.

Ive got power mirrors so that wouldnt be an issue. your saying they ar the same though, right? cool beans. hafta find the local parts dealer and check 'em out in person
