I have found a website that has the US Department of Energy's current state of the art on Hybrid Automobiles:
<http://www.ott.doe.gov/hev/>
Enjoy!

I checked it out and there were many interesting concepts. They seem to have short changed the Prius though. On page http://www.ott.doe.gov/hev/where.html they mention the engine and motor being smaller than what it is.

Since Toyota does not have a "mis-information control" effort, we at the Yahoo and egroups sites should take the task upon ourselves. I have often sent emails to sites with old or incorrect Prius info, but one email does not seem to be enough to get action. (The exception was "How Things Work" which corrected their site within hours)

Chuck

You wouldn't believe how much hollering (and creative letter / E-Mail writing) I had to do JUST to get their work speul-checked! Of course, the vendors had "special" names to describe me BUT - I figure that if I can spot a spelling error (or ANY other error for that matter) in 10 minutes - THEY didn't bother to put even 11 minutes into error-checking.
My point? I routinely "scan" web sites just to see what the "quality" level is out in the "real" world. and - it's BBBBBBAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDD!
So - another Hurrah and Huzza for "How Things Work"!

My spelling may vary,
Bill powell
(See? I _CAN_ say something nice! :-)
