I just got a call from Toyota's regional rep letting me know that my "loaded" Super White '02 Prius is scheduled for delivery to my dealer any minute now! I then called my dealer, and he says he expects it by tonight or tomorrow morning at the latest. Woo-hoo! Stay tuned.

- Peter

Great News! I'll bet you can hardly wait. Saw the photos of your accident a few days ago and was impressed at how well the Prius held up for being totaled. Toyota really knows how to build 'em. I "totaled" my '88 Celica on the 101 in '95 and the guys at the body shop told my husband and I that the car saved our lives. We hit a 50lb chunk of metal that fell out of someone's truck head on. It took out the radiator and severely damaged the under carraige. They managed to "save" it and I still drive it today. But my Prius is on order to replace it and your experience has my confidence up. Have a great time with your new car, Peter.

Peter is so lucky. I ordered mine from Orange County, California, on the exact same day.

I wonder if Peter is getting his before me because he ordered white and I ordered silver?

I haven't received the call yet that my 2002 arrived in Long Beach. I hope to soon because my registration expires mid September...and if I pay it then, I will have to pay it again for the 2002 when it arrives . The Cal. DMV does not refund registration payments even if you sell the car one day later.
