Pat, start by getting the TOY shop manual and read through the AC section. If your parts truck is the same as your target vehicle in terms of engine and 2wheel vs 4wd, you're in good shape. If not, there'll be some workarounds. Brackets can differ as well as some of the wiring and relay on the cooling unit. Actuator hose connects also differ btwn the 3VZ-E and 22R-E. The manual is downloadable from some sites (do a search). The AC should be doable and is something I'm also thinking about (1992 2wd 22R-E).
I have also thought about adding power steering, but the power mirrors are higher on my list right now. This would probably be the easier of the two retrofits, but there are two types - standard and PPS. Do a read of the manual's PS section and compare the two vehicles given what you're reading (is there a speed sensor and PS ECU, etc).
Keep us informed of your progress.
