Hey all, I am now the proud owner of an 83 toy fj60. I would like to know all the info you can supply, including mods (cheaper the better), where to get quality parts, where to get cheap parts, any things in particular I should look for. I live in northern NY and we commonly have temps in the winter down to -45F and I think the first mods will be a block heater. I saw on a website some self adhesive pads for warming your oil pan and was wondering if I could attach these to my tranny, transfer case, and differentials to warm them up.
