I have a Rav 4 - 2001. It is such a cool SUV, but I am having one problem with it.
I can feel that it is unstable on the road. We have some bad roads in here, and I feel when i pass over such roads, the jeep is not that stable.

I changed the lately the front amatsor for the two sides, and still feel things not OK. The wheels are not good and need to be changed, I will change them this week, but I appreciate if someone can tell me, where else should I look to make it more stable and not to feel every single spot on the road!

You did not describe why it feels unstable, but I can take a guess. Most of the time, an unstable feeling, like the car dances around the road and does not track in a straight line, is because the alignment is wrong. A bad toe out will cause this. Also, tires not at the correct air pressure will do this. It says on the door jam what PSI the tires should be at.

Bad steering rack bushings will also cause bad handling. Forgive my ignorance, but what is an amatsor?
